Jos Lansink, Olympic team gold medalist in 1992 in Barcelona, and World Champion in Aachen in 2006 with the famous grey stallion Cumano, is now a successful trainer. The fifty-eight years old Belgian agreed to bring his great experience in The Auction project.

The Auction’s team of experts is looking for young quality performers which have the potential to become great Grand Prix horses. Our selection criteria are that they already must have proven themselves in championships, they must be the very best of their generation and have an exceptional pedigree.

The horses market is a very competitive one. Everyone is dreaming about finding the horse that will offer the best value or reach the highest level of the sport. The Auction will have the advantage of being highly publicized and organized by an experimented team, so some owners will take this opportunity to put their horses in front of the best clients.

Combining The Auction project with the horse racing world is obviously a very promising thing. Arqana’s yearlings sales work perfectly. In addition to offering for sale very young horses, the yearlings, during The Auction, we will focus the catalogue with five, six and seven years old performers which have already achieved great results and an important history proving their quality and scarcity which is a unique opportunity for clients to invest.

When you organize a great event and create a unique opportunity you can count on the presence of great customers. Christophe Ameeuw understood it and his The Auction project presents all the necessary qualities to be an exceptional event.
