His unconditional love of horses propelled him through a stellar career as a professional show jumping rider, representing Belgium in many World Championships and the Olympics, and numerous Grand Prix victories on the international circuit.

Now retired from the sport he heads the family business and the career of his four sons who are following in his footsteps at the highest level. Twin prodigies Nicolas and Olivier both in the top of the world ranking today.

His passion for horses made him choose Show Jumping over his family business. He is one of the most talented rider of his generation with no less than 7 Olympic participations under his belt, representing both the Netherlands and Belgium.

His career was crowned by the most coveted titles in our sport, winning both Olympic Gold in Barcelona in 1992 and the World Championships in Aachen in 2006.

Today he trains two young and talented riders at the highest level.

The extraordinary “De Muze” breeding line is his creation and a household name that resonates on the world’s best show jumping events.

With his passion for breeding, his experience and constant search for improvement, he has produced many champions and top performers of his generation.

She comes from a highly passionate equestrian family, and has dedicated her life to the estate and breeding of Chateau Bacon.

A prominent figure and strong advocate of our sport in France, she brings the best of Show Jumping to Paris every year with the famous Paris Eiffel Jumping, held at the foot of great-grandfather’s famous tower.

He has built himself a career spotting and scouting the future champions of our sport, representing a new generation of horses dealer.

He learned his trade having worked with the most prestigious stables before establishing his own structure Milestone Farms in Holland.
